I have three passions: my wife, filmmaking and music. Twenty years ago I began my career in the specialty AV world as a tech journalist writing for publications such as Audio Video Revolution and Modern Home Theater. I became the managing editor of Home Theater Review some years ago where I helped to grow the publication to the largest online specialty AV magazine in the world. I resigned as Managing Editor in 2012 and began making YouTube videos shortly thereafter.

In addition to being a tech journalist, I worked as a creative director for an advertising firm for almost a decade. My clients included some of Hollywood’s largest studios and television networks. In 2008 I directed a feature film that was later released by Warner Bros. in 2009, followed by a few smaller indie films that debuted on Hulu and iTunes.

Since re-launching the YouTube channel in December of 2018 with my wife and producing partner, Kristi, the channel has become one of the fastest growing specialty AV channels on YouTube, with 275,000 subscribers. Our goal is to help grow the hobby by being more inclusive, welcoming younger viewers and women into the discussion. We are so glad you’ve joined us and hope to see you around.
