Marantz NR1200 Stereo Receiver Review

Marantz, makers of consumer and audiophile friendly AV components the world over, have a new approach to integrated amplifiers in their NR1200 in that its more or less a home theater receiver but without all the surround sound business. That’s right it’s a stereo only AV receiver, capable of playing back 4K/UltraHD content via its five HDMI inputs, while providing much (if not all) of that hi-fi, audiophile goodness Marantz is known for. Oh, and it’s only $599 USD retail. But is it any good?
