Music Hall’s new Classic turntable is a semi-automatic, belt-driven record player that retails for $599. This complete turn-key turntable is aimed at novice and even midlevel vinyl enthusiasts. I found the Classic to be not unlike Technics’ SL-1500C and Pro-Ject X2 turntables, but for half the price.
