Klipsch Heresy IV Loudspeaker Review

Klipsch Heresy IV Loudspeaker Review

About a year ago I reviewed Klipsch Heresy III loudspeaker and came away more than a little impressed, but it was not a perfect loudspeaker which is why I opted to hang onto my JBL L100 Classic speakers for reference. My what a difference a year can make! Check out the video of the Klipsch Heresy IV review above!

A Loudspeaker For The Ages

Klipsch’s new Heresy IV may look like the Heresy’s of old, but it’s a whole new speaker. Redesigned for 2020 with an all-new crossover, improved drivers and a rear-firing bass port, the Heresy IV is a loudspeaker for the ages and likely an instant classic for the US-based brand.

The Heresy IV has a much more linear response with a more refined top end and bass -the speaker now has bass. The rear firing port allows the Heresy IV to no longer require a subwoofer in small to medium sized rooms; grounding the entire frequency spectrum in ways the IIIs simply couldn’t have dreamt of on their own. With all these changes it’s good to know that the Heresy IV hasn’t lost its soul, as it is a Klipsch speaker through-and-through!

We loved it, and have even gone so far as to make it our new reference loudspeaker going forward!
